Being a animal lover, I get great satisfaction ensuring your pets safety whilst still allowing them the freedom to roam around the property freely. I also enjoy providing peace of mind to the customer about their pets well-being.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE BREED OF DOG TO TRAIN TO AN ELECTRONIC DOG FENCE CONTAINMENT SYSTEM, AND WHY?
It is hard to pick just one breed, i do enjoy working with all dogs. I do thoroughly enjoy working with working breeds (ie. border collies, kelpies ect) as i love watching how quickly they understand and respect the containment system. I also find working with Cats very rewarding, they require more fine details; as they can jump, climb and are capable of things dog’s can not do.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE HIDDEN FENCE DOG CONTAINMENT SYSTEM TO USE IN THE FIELD, AND WHY?
My personal favourite is the PT4 Professional Series for the variety of features & functions it offers. It allows me to have flexibility while training the dog, ensuring the systems is fully customised to your pet & property. Also paired with the Battery Backup, it offers the extra protection and peace of mind with Victoria’s frequent power outages. All whilst at cheaper cost than standardised fencing.
DO YOU HAVE A GOOD STORY TO SHARE ABOUT CONTAINING A CUSTOMERS PET?
The most rewarding job i have installed to date was while i was working in Queensland for a client located in Samford Valley. A tiny Pomeranian was able to access the neighbouring property fence line and unfortunately the unfriendly neighbours dog decided to attack. I set up a smaller containment zone within the property to keep the dog away from the fence, to ensure the pup could no longer get in harms way. It was very satisfying to ensure the dogs safety.
WHAT’S THE HARDEST INSTALL YOU’VE ENCOUNTERED?
The most complex install i have completed to date in Victoria was 35 Acres with a mixture property including; pine trees, rocks, a steep hill and it all backed onto a lake that was very muddy. Also the neighbour had a adjacent system installed on 4 Acres, i completed the week before. This was very rewarding as the properties were also located alongside a 100km road and i was able to keep the dogs safely away from the road.
